Biography of Lawal Daniel OLUWATOSIN

My name is Lawal Daniel OLUWATOSIN, born on May 04, 1991 from Lagos Nigeria, I am a businessman, engaged in computer repairs and the sales of computer-related products.

The inspiration behind Lawal Clean Future Initiative comes from a true-life experience—my own story.

I was introduced to crack cocaine through a woman I met via a friend who was also struggling with drug addiction at the time. She convinced me that taking drugs would improve my performance, give me more energy, and help me achieve many tasks in a short time. I believed her, not knowing the destruction that lay ahead. That decision marked the beginning of my journey into addiction.

At first, I did not realize how dangerous drugs were. By the time I understood, it was almost too late. Addiction took everything from me—my money, my home, my health, my relationships, and my sense of stability. I experienced drug-induced psychosis and completely lost control of my life.

During this period, my family was helpless and could only pray, unsure of what steps to take. However, I was fortunate to have a few true friends who did not give up on me. One of them, Mr. Friday”Ipreach Autos” saw a video of me during one of my worst moments—confused, vulnerable, and wandering the streets of Lagos. Although he was outside the country at the time, he immediately searched for help, located a private rehabilitation center, and arranged for me to be admitted for treatment.

That moment marked the beginning of my healing.

The cost of private rehabilitation was far beyond what my family could afford, but my friends came together, raised funds, and ensured I received proper care. Even after I left rehabilitation, they continued to support me emotionally and financially, helping me stay focused, avoid depression, and rebuild my life until I was able to work again. I am alive today because of their compassion.

Sadly, many others are not as fortunate. I took drugs with people who are still on the streets today, battling addiction and mental health challenges. Their families and society have often given up on them—not out of hatred, but because they do not know where to turn or how to afford proper treatment and follow-up care.

Understanding that I might not have survived without the help of good friends, I made a decision to give back.

This is why I founded Lawal Clean Future Initiative—to create awareness about the dangers and long-term effects of hard drugs, and to support individuals struggling with addiction and depression. Through medical care, follow-up support, counseling, and financial assistance sourced from myself, friends, family, the public, and government partnerships, we aim to help restore hope to our youths and communities.

My story is proof that recovery is possible—and that no one should be left behind.
